She Can't Let You Go

Does it make you feel happy,
to See her broken on the floor?
Are you proud to know it's you
who makes her feel so rotten and low?

Do you enjoy the fact,
that you kick her when she's down?
While she's laying there sobbing,
on the cold, hard ground?

She's all black and blue,
Red, raw and hurt.
What is it that makes you think
That you can treat her like dirt?

She's a human-being, you know.
She doesn't deserve to be treated like that.
And the reason she stays with you,
I just can't grasp that fact.

The only reason I know,
The only reason I can think of,
Is that she loves you...
Yes, she loves you,
And she can't let you go.
