Did you ever love somebody and know they didn't care?
Did you ever feel like crying, knowing it would get you nowhere?
Did you ever look into someone’s eyes and say a little prayer?
Did you ever watch someone walk away not wanting them to go?
Did you ever whisper "god I love you" but never letting them know?
You cry at night in misery and almost go insane.
Nothing in this world causes so much pain.
You see I know you deserve better than I can give.
Yet still I stand here wondering without you could I live.
I never ever have felt this way in my life.
To be without you would cause me so much pain and strife.
Now you sit there thinking alright why me.
It’s your smile, laugh and goofiness that are the key.
My life was going down hill so fast.
I met you and remembered it was done and past.
I let bad memories come in and almost kill me.
You stepped in my life and let me see,
those good memories can save all of us in the end.
But what’s next, what’s around the bend?
You might not want something like this.
I am trying to better myself just so I don’t miss.
Love can sometimes be hard to get through,
You see my friend I ought to know because I fell in love with you.
