Memories fade, they blister and tear until they're just tiny fragments and
you can barely remember the importance of the memory.
The reason you memorize things is so that you'll never forget them.
It'll be clear and fresh in your mind the next day, but as time goes on it
just fades.
Eventually nothing remains.
But the question stays the same: why would you want to hold onto something
withered and torn when you can change things every day?
