She was like everyone else on the outside
However on the inside she was a mess
She put on a great show on
Always doing what her parents wanted
Never doing what made her happy
It looks like she has everything
But no matter what she won’t have what she wants
She always puts on a fake smile photos
You don’t see the pain, loneness in her eyes
Nights when she comes home
She locks herself in her room
Locks the door so no one will come in
Turns loud music on to hid the screams
Going to the mirror
Looking at the image looking back
She screams “I will never will be good enough!!”
Punches the mirror
Blood running down her arm
She screams and falls to the ground
She was the girl who put a show on for the world
Only to be fake to the only person who cares
Herself.
