Life In The Holocaust

As a child, it should be fun
Instead there are so many lies,
Just to survive
With hurtful truths that are hidden behind these eyes

Lying is the answer
That’s how we can be safe,
Because you can instantly die
If you’re just a different race

Escaping from home to another place
With so much fear running through,
Having to hide in dark alleys
So these Nazis can’t find you

Was afraid to be deported
Thinking life would be like this forever,
But I survived a crazy scene
Where there are barely no pretty pictures to be remembered
