Death Of You

There is a closed door
At the end of the hall
Drifting sirens
Overcoming the silence

And you float in isolation
Away from the heart and home
Into demolition

Tonight we give the cheers
To the death of you
Tonight everything will seem clear
Because of the death of you

The empty chair, In the empty room
The empty house, On the empty street
Voices could be heard behind every whisper
Holding candles the scent of exits

Tonight we live
To the death of you
Tonight we're alive
Because of the death of you

A goodbye is so easy to say when it's not you
The end comes so soon when you have no clue.
