I have done nothing wrong in loving you,
Though some may think I have.
Who can say what love is right or wrong?
I am no expert at it.

If someone told me, I would fall for you
I would laugh at their prediction.
‘Love comes softly,’ I have been told,
And in our case it is true.

For I never would have thought a year ago,
That I would be in love with you.
