Hidden on a mountantop
High above this world
Hidden there you'll find me
As this life slowly unfurls
You'll find the person who I was
Before I met you, drugs
Youll find the person that I loved
Before my world came unplugged
So solemn, you'll see me today
So silent, yet again
So careless as I drift away
To the darkened side of men
Before I met this demon
Before I met desire
Before I lived life, deceiving
Before being called a liar
Before all this there lived a man
A normal man, I think
A man whose life had such a plan
But now his hopes begin to sink
A man whose heart still eager
For this life to show him
A new plan for that simple man
One who wrote much better poems
The life has drifted, far away
Far from this crazy world
Hidden on a mountain top
As his life slowly unfurls
