there's something here i cant quite see
but it feels just as real to me
breaking rules of space and time
i go to the world that is mine
the angels speak with voices sweet
the demons whisper their promises of deceit
as the roses blood drips red on the ground
the blooms of spring die all around
another knife impaling the heart
once calm and composed now falling apart
life's not all the way broken, but not quite complete
the angelic voices, in my head they repeat
"do not give up hope dearest lady for you are blessed"
"just keep your faith and leave to us the rest"
trust was beheld and in them faith was kept
she fell to her knees and silently wept
"maybe now not all hope is gone"
"because of you, my guilt has been drawn"
no longer the rose bleeds red upon the ground
and up comes blooms from far abound
from her knees the young woman rose
the doubt of herself from her mind she would close
then up she looked into the light
where she saw that life was within sight
