Denial.

You spit out lines of synthetic poetry
Another pathetic attempt to pull yourself
From the wreckage you've created
& spew sympathetic, optimist bullshit
My ears begin to bleed
But not my heart
I'm not one to be swayed
By another self proclaimed martyr

So tell me again how you believe in fairy tales
& show me once more how you're anticipating my next move
I can work around you
Its not hard to fool the blind
When they're so deeply in denial

You assure yourself that your words are golden
Untouchable from your purest white pedestal
& sleep among st your shattered dreams
While casting blame like spells
To turn us all to zombies
I'm not one to fear
Another cowardly child throwing stones

So tell me again how you believe in fairy tales
& show me once more how you're anticipating my next move
I can work around you
Its not so hard to fool the blind
When they're so deeply in denial
