Full Moon

The moon stands above us so full of light,
So quiet, so peaceful it is, it is at night.

In her light, as such a feeling of protection,
To sit outside one can almost feel a connection.

Her warm light ignites the darkest of way,
At night in her glow, much comes out to play.

Her stay is short, but she lights it very nice,
To find her in the night, you wont think twice.

Free and beautiful she puts out there to see,
Shes always there, shes always there nightly.

The most beautiful star that the heavens created,
Her light among us never seen dim nor faded.

Like a silent dream she sets the night to glow,
In a vision I see her perfectly with no winds to blow.

As time shall pass through, she will stand a full moon,
To miss her light yet not to worry she’ll be here soon.
