Not a teenager yet
But I do know that some think of life as a threat
We all go through pain
But some of them live a life of shame

Not a teenager yet
But I do know some will turn to cigarettes
What do they fear?
That is a question I find very unclear

Not a teenager yet
But I do know there is something they would regret
Thinking it’s something they cannot prevent
They don’t realize they might be that next horrible event

Not a teenager yet
But I do know something I will not forget
In one year, I am sure, through many tears
I too will go through these same amount of fears
