Lipton’s lisp

Lipton’s lisp
poor kid I was his friend
oh but what the teachers did to him.
Poking fun at the way he spoke
laughter in the staff room making him a joke.

What a load of senseless git's
poking fun at Lipton’s lisp.
How small minded could you get
and these were teachers
and teachers let. (to allow)

To male and female I’m so glad that’s changed
and sent back into hiding their pathetic ways
of senseless humiliation and classroom shame
brutal favoritism and school day pain.

There was one old feller never knew his name
but his sole existence was to administer the cane.
And he did, with the movement of a gymnast
swinging between parallel bars of motion as they fly up and through…
Things have changed
Good.
