Trying to put my heart into this
Trying to think of what I might miss
A happy song to lift my spirits
They push it down, don't want to hear it
A simple cry throughout the night
I give up without a fight.

A secret life, hidden away
No ones wanting to hear what I say
I just want to leave this place
It's only some big useless race.

A world made just for me
Waiting out there for me to see
Happiness is out there
