You hold your breath and wait for a moment
Hoping your dad won’t walk in.
You lay half entrapped in lust,
Half entrapped in careful listening.

You listen to every sound,
Not knowing whether he is awake or not.
You curse yourself for the need to breath,
As mush as you need to breath you need to feel free.

There’s someone on top of you,
You don't feel love, just the heat of another body,
You can't help but feel so dirty.
You don’t want him to see the things you do,
He's your father and so much more,
You're his oh so perfect little girl.

You listen for his footsteps
Or the sound of the TV going deaf,
You listen for the quiet, you listen for any sound
But Jay Leno continues his monologue
And your dad’s laugh wavers around.

You feel yourself become so relieved,
The lust will last another night, another scene.
You kiss the boy you’re underneath on the cheek,
And continue in search of the pleasure you need.
