Today was a great day.
I have never lived so openly and nakedly as I have so far
I doubt I'll cross that path again.
I saw you today, walking in the warm breeze
On concrete, no doubt, for that is where we live
You have these expressions that make moments
The day was just filled with bursts of them
Maybe it's just a nervous habit

I know I get that way when I'm falling in love.

You were walking in the warm breeze today
And it announced to me that summer was here again
It felt good to feel that
Too soon, I know, to be falling in love
But you fill my mornings and breaks with these looks
It's only in the second month

Imagine an entire summer.

I might be leaving for a little today
Everyone needs their breaks
I'll just take a smoking break on the bike path lined with
strawberries
"No smoking permitted on school grounds."
I guess that doesn't stop some people
Especially those kids

I'll never smoke an entire pack alone.
