because you're far away.
You have been gone an hour,
or has it been a day?

And why did you leave?
You could have just stayed.
You've never been closer,
or were you afraid?

And I have been looked at,
blown over and fried.
Why did you let go,
why didn't I fight?

And tomorrow is over,
in just another day.
The moon takes over sunshine,
the birds have flown astray.

And I will be lonely,
forever you've been gone.
Looking through the window,
you're standing on the lawn.
