Crushed beneath the shock.
Frozen like a deer.... somewhere.
Eyes. Staring in humor.
Twinkling cruelly.
Shivers slipping across my skin.
Sweat swept.
And in the background, they clap.
The incessant cruel clapping.
I cover my ears.
