My Alcatraz - Save A Child

I can read your mind, my friend
You want to escape
Escape from what? You may ask
Foolish man, I know your fate
I know what that you will become
I know what binds you here
I know what then, takes you away
For now, my life you fear
But no, not this one, not this land
Not this land that lasts
Not this home, this island stands
For this is my alcatraz
I know that life has bred you
To believe the structured man
Fight desire, to be recognized
And alone then you will stand
Stand not fearfull, for your alone
Where all the others fail
They all have met in one true fate
To be part of a lying tale
The world lies to you, dear child
Work as hard as you can
Because if you do, my boy
You might be a wealthy man
You might be honored, with respect
Or remembered after death
But dead then how are you to know
When now you're like the rest
Come with me and live with us
Our lives lived in happy thoughts
Stay and live a meaning, here
I'll prove wrong what you were tought
Be not confused, by simple words
my tounge is not too sharp
Stay with me, or play that game
And end up, back at the start
