The Wind Shall Never Know

The trees that whisper, through the night
As the grass, waves in the day
The flowers, say goodbye again
And the bushes, simply sway
The birds all laugh and chirp for me
As I drive away to work
The wind shall greet me playfully
And wisp a happy smirk
The sun shall shine on me today
The road shall be my home
The light that shows my destiny
Is marked, with tar and stone
For nature knows not all these pains
That a normal day endures
This nature loves, and knows no other
For this natures life is pure
This nature knows not of my loss
Not of my daily pain
The birds and trees still greet me
And love me just the same
But nature knows not me today
For why Im driving on this road
Im heading to my funeral
Yet the wind, still never knows
I'm heading to my grave today
With no one by my side
But wind, and happy memories
You give me as I drive
Each day you sway with love for me
And for this death, you arent blamed
This wind of happy memories
For you still love me, just the same
