Just need my weed in order to breathe
Keeps my head just above water,and thats all that I really need,
Keeps my head straight, sober and level!
There ain't nothing pot can't help me handle.
Yes, I'm on methadone, its not just pot,
But they are great medicine, and are all that I got.
Yes It's illegal, I understand your point,
Legalize it, and you'll see MY point!
It helps my depression, it helps me eat!
It keeps me stable when I'm about to freak.
Everyone stares, they think I'm insane,
How does this Sweet Leaf help your brain?
They say its addiction, all in the same.
Marijuana helps me remain this sane,
If I don't smoke, its like bringing down the walls.
I'm no longer able to control my thoughts
My cravings persist, gaining momentum,
Before I know it, its like kissing a handgun!
Its just not safe!My best thinking, cause my downfall,
I need weed, to filter the memories; oh so painful.
Remembering who I hurt all over a drug!
Having fake friends, just because of this drug!
Now being clean and my friends are so few,
Its like I'm nothing to any of you!
But this negative thinking is what gets me high.
Thats why I continue to smoke bud alright?
Its natural its pure, it comes from the earth,
Legalize the plant and embrace its 'curse'
We could have cheaper fuel, clothing and rope,
More medicinal choices to all who need hope!
These are some choices I think we could all love.
Cancer-free joints? I think I'm in love!
Tobacco is deadly grown in uranium enriched soil
Pot plants are grown from hydroponic gardens, no soil!
No outside chemicals to hurt the plant,
grown with love to help someone through,
Love thy neighbor, isn't that true?
So I smoke some pot, so I've grown this plant,
But its helpful to all, thats why I say, Legalize it!
