It's a MAD, MAD World

Locked in conquest for crude black ooze
Forged to battle in War & Blues
A Nation hypnotic to a box's snooze
While feeding a fix in relation to glues

It's a MAD, MAD World

It's a BAD, BAD World

Submission to sin, a massive Achilles heel
To this world is trivial to have lain
To our cash cow God we have to kneel
And sell ourselves to gain

It's a BAD, BAD World

It's a SAD, SAD World

A Religion's road leads a flock astray
And bombs and genocide adored
As a bonus, the innocent have to pay
With prayers of good health ignored

It's a SAD, SAD World

It's a GLAD, GLAD World

Glimpses of heroism and relentlessness strive
Sincerity even haunts the evil at heart
Eyes of a child spark the hopeful drive
Which tells the optimist and pessimist apart

It's a GLAD, GLAD World

If I HAD, HAD a World

Meek shall reign and the cold-hearted fall
Devils may cry and the woundful heal
Chance, stance, and romance for all
But the tragedy is that it's not real

Such a MAD/BAD/SAD/GLAD WORLD.
