Emotions come crashing down
We’re trapped in the midst of
Tears and intolerable sufferings
Hopes and dreams slowly fade away
And soon we could see none
Darkness then prevails
Leaving us with nothing but our shadows
That cast across the floor of despair
Reflections of our past
Make us hide under a shroud of fog
Actions which we have regretted
Slowly creep up on our conscience
Just like silence that feeds
On loneliness of an individual
