You're my best friend through weal and woe,
when you reached for my hand, you touched my heart.
You're the best friend that I can have
in my whole entire life.

You were there for me when I needed you the most,
you cheered me up when I'm down.
When I was about to cry, you made me smile,
you're my best friend and I cannot lie.

You listened to me and gave me opinions that came
straight from the underneath of your spirit.
You're the best friend in this world that I
couldn't ask God for a little bit more.

Though we might be separated,
I just want to tell you that,
I'll make new friends but that simply won't change
because you'll always be my best friend.

I'd like to mean as much as you mean to me,
I'd like to be some help to you as you have been to me,
I'd like you to know that though we are miles apart,
our friendship is what my heart cherishes to keep.
