Sometimes in life,
You'll find a special friend.
Someone who changes your life,
Just by being a part of it.

I found mine eighteen months ago,
And I know it wasn't too long ago.
Someone who made me laugh,
Even when things got tough.

Someone who made me believe,
That together,
We could achieve.

Someone who taught me,
To love myself, and
As well as others.
Someone who made me special,
Just by bringing out the best in me.

Someone who stood by me,
And never left me,
Not for that moment.

Someone who loved me,
Like the way I loved her.
Someone who'll always have,
A place in my heart.
And that someone can never be,
Anyone else but,
You.
