We learn to laugh,
We learn to cry,
We learn to live,
We know we’ll die.
We hope the best,
Sometimes get stuck with the worst,
We crave the true meaning,
Like a deep and longing thirst.
As friendships grow closer,
Expectations are raised,
We become a family,
Outsiders are amazed.
Growing up together,
We learn what is fake and real,
Our “family” has been perfected,
This love seems so surreal.
We leave hand marks on hearts,
And the footprints on the ground,
We know where we’ve been,
And know that we’ll be around.
So while we run continuously,
On this busy track of life,
We all stay as one,
Through happiness and strife.
