A lonely victim cries for help
her cries are not in vain
looking in her emerald eyes you gaze at all her pain
begging for an escape
the lonesome black sheep
the only release she ever found was in the midst of her sleep
A mother who loved her child
more than she could possibly love herself
her greatest achievement was the #1 mom statue
that christened her top shelf
finally after waiting ages
for her absolution to arrive
out walks prince charming with promises to save her broken life
"you've suffered enough" he said
as he held out his hand
unknowingly she waltzed into his demented never-land
there he tormented her slowly
with his mask firmly pulled over his eyes
and fooled everyone into believing his silly agenda of lies
She only wanted to find an escape from all her grey and rainy days
find someone who would truly love her until her past melted away
"don't worry my love" he whispered in her ear
Ill take care of all your worries and banish all of your fears
her golden hair shone
as her turned off the light
then the true prince of darkness
waltzed into the night
taking her trust, her love and her life
the devil made himself strong by stealing her life
you see this story I tell is not one of fairy tale endings
our prince charming never comes
and Cinderellas heart never finds mending
He drew her into his web
and he paralyzed her soul
he took her by the hand
to a place where time holds no toll
there he left her, lifeless and cold
he snickered to himself
as he exposed the secrets that she told
He was her self proclaimed savior
he took all that she had
now he lives on her souls fuel
and shes merely dead
It's not supposed to end this way
good always beats evil
isn't that what they say?
But I'm afraid this is my story both accurate and true
the devil took her from me and there's nothing I can do
All that remains now are fading memories
down a hall of echoing laughter
she looks back at me
and i whisper "I miss you so much mommy"
from the heart of your daughter
