As I sit here staring out the dirty glass window,
The sliding rain drops, blurring my view,
I watch the sky slowly change colors,
And I'm only thinking of you.

Are these feelings of true love,
Or us crumbling apart,
Whether you're here or there,
You will always have a piece of my heart.

My green eyes begin turning red,
With the tears streaming down my face,
Wondering if you are slowly drifting from me,
Slipping from your regretting embrace.

The laughs and smiles scattered around me,
Leaves memories of tears between,
Could she be in the way of new photographs,
Of our future seeming so serene.

The girl of your dreams may be in your arms now,
As I sit lonely after our goodbyes,
Because your time is with her now,
When I just wish I was staring deep into your eyes.

The icy rain starts to subside,
And the sun follows my glistening tears,
All the dark clouds vanish to nothing,
And a pain driven rainbow appears.

The quiet tapping of rain drops off the glass is gone,
Silence has overwhelmed my pain,
The anguish washes over me,
Wishing it was taken away with the rain.

Quickly drying my drenched face,
I feel you wandering close behind,
You wrap your warm arms around me,
Perfectly hiding whats on my mind.

Holding me, greeting me with a kiss on my cheek,
But that could be guilt I see in your stare,
I fall back against your strong chest,
And you hold me perfectly in place there.

You doubtingly lead me to believe,
There is only pure love in your kiss,
Hoping she's not on your mind,
I close my eyes to simply reminisce.

I put a smile on my face,
As my heart beats pain though the feelings of love,
You bring serenity to my body,
I leave our future to be undreamt of.

Is it feelings of true love,
Or us fallen apart,
If you stay with me or go,
You will always have a piece of my heart.
