Watching the night sky

Each mind deftly thinking
of the one near by

The evening past was perfect
Down to the light breeze

The stars burned brightly as their love
Eyes began to tease

Their shadows in the fire
A fairy tale, untold

Each giving to the other
all their hearts could hold

Events will linger in their minds
Whenever they are near

Eyes will sparkle like that fire
for once intentions clear

just a night of perfection
A moment to match the stars
