How I would love to watch you from afar.
To hurt from pains of longing I would wish.
To glimpse at all the beauty that you are,
I would ingest the poison hell would dish.
My heart would die but still I would be well,
for love is marked when two are apart.
The constant pain alerts me like a bell,
for gone is she who lives within my heart.
Refrain from searching pain, for none should want
such deep and dreadful agony as this.
To shun away your love would surely haunt,
far too soon your beloved you would miss.
To search for love shall always bear this cost.
Let love be born or all your love be lost.
