She's gone!
Left me all alone!
Slipped away in the cold of the night.
No angry words - no fight.
Departed with another.
Now keeping company with some unknown other.
I'll always wonder.
How did I blunder?
Looking at her pictures in a daze.
Almost a craze.
Remembering going to many a dance.
The romance!
Parties 'til dawn.
Her startling beauty complimented my brawn!
We were THE pair.
From so many - an admiring stare!
Never, never thought she would leave.
Still I grieve!
Guess this cowboy ran out of luck -
Someone silently repossessed my beautiful pickup truck!
