Waiting by the phone for a call that never comes

You say you will

Then you turn around and forget

Leaving me here with nothing else to do

I can’t go anywhere thinking you might call



This has got to stop say you will or say nothing at all

Your lies hurt more than the truth so say you won’t

Next time you don’t

And I won’t be waiting by the phone anymore



I need to know right now not later

This affects my life in ways you do not know

Please only call if it is good news

Don’t wana hear It if it is bad… so if it is just hang up now
