The desire to want
Versus the desire to not
Is difficult to conquer
On the spot
The craving grows.
It's almost tangible before my eyes.
The need and the desire
Will I lose all pride?
To go and give up-
Be seduced and go easy
Would be to lose all self-respect,
And this wouldn't please me
To go on and live without
Is killing me inside.
But it doesn't matter, though
Because I have my pride.
The temptation is great
But still I won't give in
Although I really want to.
I won't commit this sin.
