I want to run off a cliff
Find peace in the fall.
Slam into the darkness-
Finally away from it all.
I want to run into your arms
Hold me close to you.
But instead I will choose the cliff.
Because the other I cannot do.
I want to run off the cliff-
Be borne up on your wings.
Fly into the sunlight,
And forget the painful things.
But your wings support me.
So I'll just run off and leap
I fly for just a little while
Then find peace in sleep.
