Sometime Tomorrow

Look at me
I'm a bird
I'm a plane
No I'm superman
Flying Blindsided

Entrapt in invincibility
Up in the sky
What we see is so deceiving
I was a fooled victim
Of this little black distortion

Time and again
Soon is too soon to last
I need more senses
Then the five I already have
Just keep praying
Maybe I'll begin alternating

You all waiting and expecting
Some hint of strength in my body
Maybe sometime tomorrow
Today is too complicated to regain
Superman was not an infinite hero
Neither was the illusion I created

Sometime tomorrow
Perhaps I would remake myself
So everyone would be proud
Act my age, and control my rage
Sometime tomorrow
Sure, maybe,
If you look at it that way.
