exactly how I feel.
I wish you could just see,
that what we had was real.
I wish we could have lasted,
longer than we thought.
I wish we didn’t argue,
I wish we wouldn’t have fought.
I wish I had the power,
to bring you back home.
I wish I still had you,
cause now I’m all alone.
I wish you would have stayed,
so we could maybe try.
I wish that I was happy,
cause all I do is cry.
I wish that the summer,
would have never came.
But it happens every year,
and will always be the same.
I wish I could go back,
and maybe rewind time.
So maybe here right now,
you would still be mine.
I wish I didn’t hurt,
I wish there was no pain.
I wish I didn’t feel,
like I’m the one to blame.
I wish I still had you,
right by my side.
I wish you wouldn’t have taken,
away my foolish pride.
I wish things wouldn’t change,
but over time they do.
I wish you could just see,
that I still care for you.
I wish I had you back,
maybe some day I will.
But the truth is that,
I love you.
I always have,
and always will.
