The Empty Me

The world closes down
And it's all your fault
But the blame really isnt yours to carry.
The bus passes you by
Even though you wave for it
In a vain attempt at being noticed.
Nobody cares
And when you cry
The simpathy of loved ones
Closes down on you like a steel trap
And the only release is to chew off your own foot.
I'd rather be empty inside
So I can't feel my pain.
There's nothing I can do.
Forced to live in this empty life
With a happy face and smile
So that nobody will ever know
How empty I am
Inside.
