Forgetting

Forgetting the love we felt before
Can be natural, but for me impossible.
Regretting only leaves my hear sore,
Because living without you is horrible.
My life should be better without you.
No losing sleep when you’re not around.
Now my lost dreams can come true,
And finally inner peace can be found.
I cannot let go of the ugly memories.
I am scared to lose the good as well,
Holding on as if they were luxuries
Not wanting to forget you is my hell.
Getting over you would be bliss
Then why forgetting you isn’t what I wish?
