Im always alone
As cold as stone
In my dark world of silence
I cry with no sound
Cry as im bound
Screaming as the pain becomes immense
My whole body tense
Banging and pounding on the glass
And with one final smash
"I've done it" I think
As my mind takes a blink
I begin to run
To the bright warm sun
As i run the glass cuts my feet
But i dont care because my eyes and the light finally meet
Im running so fast
Then finally at last
Im no longer surrounded by silence and black
I can see now
Looking all around
Promising never to go back
