There are no lies
The mirror only knows what it knows
It cannot be fooled
Although it can be used to fool
I stare into it
My own eyes are not staring back at me
The mirror is peering into my soul
Showing my imperfections
Making me look at them
I cannot turn away
I cannot get away
Vanity is a sin
But only when you like what you see.
