Today was filled with lullabies
Too high for me to sing
Today was filled with torture
Too low for love to bring
Today was filled with nonsense
That has crowded up my mind
Today was emptied out in rhyme
Today lives here, in this line
Today I live, tommorow dead
Today is but a dream
Today I give with no regret
For tommorow I live unseen
Today was filled with lullabies
I wish that I could sing
Today was filled with torture
Now I've become nothing
Today was filled with empty thoughts
Incomplete in my own mind
I wish that I could finish them
And finish my last line
Tommorows filled with sadness
Where I shall bask in my despair
Tommorow shall take me away
But I do not know where.
Tommorow lives and breathes again
Today is thus marked dead
Tommorows filled with lullabies
Remembered, in my head
Tommorows but a thought, today
As today is a memory
I've learned to forget, and thus move on
Accept what you shall be
Today is filled with lullabies
That I could only sing
When singing seemed like nothingness
Compared to everything
So today is filled with joy and love
Today I dissapear
Today I live, with no regrets
Though tommorows crystal clear
Today I bask in my own life
And not in such dispair
Today I can live my final day
For that is only fair
Today is filled with hate
Today is misery
But today I'll hide them, just today
I won't accept what I shall be
But dreamers words mark no remorse
As empty days bring joy
For the ignorance we live within
Is solemnly destroyed
Today is filled with torture
That I can now accept
For tommorow lives about us
Tis then, I'll have regret
So today I sing my lullaby
And sing it through the skies
As the skies shall sing it back on me
As they pity my demise
But this lullaby I sing today
Has no guilt or shame
This lullaby shall die with me
Though I'm the one to blame
And I sing tommorow's lullaby
Before tommorow, sings my death
Through tounge of pity, eyes of shame
In a mirror of regret
