The bright orb
illuminating the midnight sky
so peaceful
so calm
hushing the loudest of noises
time stands still
just for one precious moment
i realize that everything is perfect
as i lay
nestled in my bed
covers blanket my body
as i stare at the illuminating light of the moon,
the light cast upon my delicate face
capturing it like a picture
a beautiful portrait
is this all a dream?
no,
i realize that im happy for a moment
i smile
drifting off to good dreams
