Never would I regret
The time spent
Hours talking
One smile after the other
I would never want to go back and replace this
It caused me so much bliss
Sometimes I just wish you were here
Beside my side, with a smile from ear to ear
The things you do, they give me pleasure
Just anticipating your touch ever so gentle
Some of things you say, bring tears to my heart
But they are not tears of pain
They are my relief; the things that you make me savor
If ever you are in need or have a favor
You can turn to me in that time
I will be here
And I will provide you with whatever is needed
Because I know whenever I’m feeling down
