the call

sitting by the phone...
waiting in the idle silence....
staring off into space thinking of what life would be like without you.
it would be dark, cold,no cheer left for me to feel, all would alone without
my other half...
i'm waiting for the call...
that fateful call that will change my life forever...
i fall to my knees and pray that God will keep you safe and under extrem
watch...
i pray he will do what i cannot...
keep you alive.
the silence is loud...
my ears are on the exploding point...
the clock ticks away the passing seconds, mocking me with its never ending,
nagging manner...
the silence is broken
the fone is ringing...
with death on the other end...
