Drowning
Feeling the walls caving in
Grasping at the nothing
The demons closing around
Pulling me down
Trying hard to find stable ground
Seeing their faces above
Friends and family
I feel their eyes laughing and pointing
Mouths moving but only hearing the sound of my
Drowning
I reach up to them
Try to grab their their hands
But only laughter recieving
Sinking deeper; trying to stay calm
Tears streaming off my face
Making this pool bigger
Adding fuel to my fire
Helping me to sink further
Eyes close "Wake up! Wake up!"
Opening them to find I'm still
Drowning
Fighting now for each breath
Wishing for my death to come swift
Breathing deep
Readying myself for that final sleep
Good-Bye my short lived Hell
I go to a better place to dwell
This merry-go-round of push and pull
Will end; taking me out of this terrible place
Giving up is the only way to win the race
Eyes close; shutting out the black pool
Seeing the light
Swimming towards the end of the tunnel
A hand reaches down; pulls me up
Too late to stop
I lift my head to see..........
The devil's smiling grin
Laughing as he releases me
Back into my life
Back into my cage
Gasp for air
No not back;Not back there
Close my eyes "Wake the Fuck up"
i open them slowing to the never ending tourturing
I wished to God that i was dreaming
Cause I'm still
Drowning
