A storm sets on the horizon
With echoes of a heart
A piece of me has emptied
And we are worlds apart
Your voice is growing distant
Dispersing in the dark
My love beats inconsistant
And we are worlds apart
This field it opens up
To reveal a fateful mound
Bearing a white rose
And a knee on the ground
This day left uncontested
It lives in infamy
Emotion has abandoned
It cries inside of me
Your body from the heavens
With features from above
Your the keeper of my heart
When push comes to love
Sitting in my fear
In a dimly lighted room
I build me courage up
To ask this favor from you
Can I Kiss You? was the question
That never hit the ground
That "YES" still makes me weak
As stupid as it sounds
I was just as scared as you
When we took that major step
Making love for the first time
A connection bound with sweat
Every curve I will remember
Every crevice I won't forget
Your face is slowing fading
And moving away I do regret
Your personality captivates
Everything I wish I was
Your curses and your laughter
And your actions of "Just Because"
I know I might be wrong
To grasp hold of the past
But all I want to do
Is make that feeling last
Everyday I wish to gaze
Into your angel eyes
To slowly wash away
All those painful goodbyes
But I don't believe its over
There are still things left unsaid
Our future remains uncertain
While your running through my head
I know we planned to marry
And some kids we'd need to make
And hear this now you PRINCESS
THIS PROMISE I WILL NOT BREAK
