I've drifted quite far off this Earth
To the dark side of the moon
To the side where nothing lives at all
And no flowers seem to bloom
I've journeyed through the deepest Hell
And brought you back a souvenir
I've been to all that you can think
But I have not been here
I've not lived the same small life
That others seem to take
I've not lived with you, my friend
Was this my mistake?
I must have not been living here
If all these things I missed
For I've never found a love, myself

I've never thought to love, just one
As the normal man is tought
As all lifes lessons, capture us

I do not love my family
Like a normal person should
I do not care of others, here

I do not live the daily life
The forever to and from
I'm just a stranger, in this life of yours
No friends, though I'll find some
I'm the man you saw when you look ahead
Even though you stare right past
I'm the man that wasn't there, today
When you looked into the glass
I'm the man that wouldn't go away
I'm the man you wished would leave
I'm the man, you didn't see, again, today
I'm the man off whom you feed
I didn't see you, here, today
As I looked right through the glass
Where are you, his time taken you
Or are you stuck within the past?
I'm the man you saw before you left
When this glass between was clearer
I'm the man that you became
As you looked into the mirror
Oh, where have you gone, within this life
Have you not followed what they said
You love your life, and love your wife
Or you'll never get ahead
You try your best, and do your work
And now their lessons seem to fade
This path is new, and just for you
You've decieved them all, today
The person that you never saw
You've joined that person, me
Come, join me, looking in on them
And maybe now, you'll see
