Empty no more

My life has been a journey,
I've walked many roads,
Something was always missing,
that I have always known.
I've searched in every place
to fill the empty hole.
It couln't be filled by a person,
It couldn't be filled with a thing.
I only found the filler
when I lost everything.
My life became hopeless,
I wanted just to die,
I prayed everyday for a change
Day after day went by,
In my heart I surrendered
to the will of my Father,
I gave him everything I had
The hole slowly began to fill,
The empty space went away,
Today I am very happy,
The hole is filled with my dad,
I have a new family,
The family of God.
No longer do I look to fill an
empty hole.
The one who Created me
has made me whole.
It is only through Jesus,
His only begotten son
that this can be done,
All praise, glory, and
honor to God,
the Father,
and Jesus his son.
