I yearn for just the sound of your lovable voice
Even If it’s just a whisper in the midst of nowhere
The soothing warmth from you touch
It is so peaceful and brings me such hope
A tear comes to my eye
For it is I cry when I don’t have you to consult
The gentle and soft “I love you” ‘s
I must admit that they have become apart of me
Those words ring in my head while I drift to sleep
And then they become true in the little world of make-believe in my mind
