Your Day Will Come

I can’t wait for the day when you finally realize
All the games you played while in this disguise
People you hurt, and the lies you told
You’ll wonder how you let your heart grow so cold
The lives you shattered, the hearts you broke
And the way you treated it, as if it were a joke
Those you betrayed, the bridges you burn
For all things important, you showed no concern
All that you missed, ‘cause of your selfish ways
As you, think how you’ve wasted so many days
Mistakes you have made, your life full of regret
Which always will haunt you, unable to forget
What goes around comes around you will dearly pay
For all that you’ve done, in a horrible way
And when your day comes, I’ll thank God I’m not you
As you’re so distraught, and there’s nothing you can do
Just like you crushed me, you shattered my soul
You too will suffer, you’ll have no control
When karma comes back, it’s a hundred times worse
You’ve no one to blame, you cast your own curse
I feel you need to know, understand what you’ve done
Yet, I wish you no pain, but there’s no place you can run
I truly am sorry for these harsh words that I say
And it hurts me deep down that I feel this way
‘Cause I have a good heart, yet these feelings are wrong
Soon your day will come, it won’t be too long
